CHINA LAKE, Calif. (NNS) -- A Navy HH-1 Huey helicopter from Naval Weapons Test Squadron China Lake crashed near Lake Isabella in the Sierra Nevada mountains, killing two crew members and injuring four others.

The injured crew members were flown by military and civilian helicopters to a nearby hospital for treatment. The Navy has not released the names of the crew members, pending notification of the next of kin.
